About

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at C.V. Raman Polytechnic is established under the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to systematically nurture the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the campus.
Our council acts as a platform for students and faculty to engage in creative problem-solving, idea generation, innovation development, and start-up incubation. Through regular activities, workshops, and collaborations with industry experts, the IIC empowers young minds to transform innovative ideas into viable solutions that can address real-world challenges.

Objectives

  • To foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.

  • To encourage ideation, prototype development, and start-up ecosystem creation within the institution.

  • To organize innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC).

  • To build networks with other IICs, industries, and start-ups for resource sharing and collaboration.

  • To provide mentorship and guidance for students in transforming their innovative ideas into workable projects or ventures.

  • To promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and design thinking approach among students.
